BIPV can help to reduce the cost and complexity of installing solar panels on buildings, while also providing a more aesthetically pleasing solution. BIPV products are still in the early stages of development, but they have the potential to transform the way we generate and use solar energy.

Energy Storage: 

Energy storage is becoming increasingly important as more homes and businesses adopt solar energy. Solar panels generate electricity during the day when the sun is shining, but energy demand is often highest in the evening and at night. Energy storage systems, such as batteries, can help to store excess solar energy during the day for use later when needed. Advances in battery technology are making energy storage more affordable and efficient, which is helping to drive the adoption of solar energy.

Smart Solar Modules: 

Smart solar modules are becoming more common, and they are designed to optimise energy production and improve system reliability. These modules use microprocessors to monitor the performance of solar panels and adjust their output to maximise energy production. They can also detect and correct faults in the solar panel system, which can improve system reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
