Belief of Amarnath Yatra

Safety guidelines for Amarnath Yatra

There are two Amarnath Yatra routes available for pilgrims to travel to the Amarnath Cave, and both of these routes are easily accessible from all the main cities. Yatra from Baltal to Amarnath Cave:

The first stage of the Yatra starts at Chandanwari, which is located 16 kilometres from Pahalgam base camp and at a height of 9,500 feet.The next three locations are Pissu top, 3 km away and at 11,000 feet, Shesnag, 9 km away and at 11,730 feet, and Panjtarni, 12 km away and at 12,000 feet. The widely available helicopter flights are an option for pilgrims who are unable to make the necessary distance on foot.The walk often takes 3–5 days to complete one way.

How to Register for Amarnath Yatra 

Application form and Compulsory Health Certificate (CHC) issued by the Authorized Institutions / Doctors by SASB must be submitted online in order to apply for an Amarnath Yatra permit.

Requirements for Amarnath Yatra
