What is a Yantra?

A Yantra in a layman’s language, is a holy object which holds the highest energies of the deities which when energized and prayed upon daily,  helps to achieve heart’s desire. Yantra means to curb, control, bind or influence. A Yantra is a sacred visual representation of a specific mantra, comprising of symbols in geometric and symmetric form. Yantras are ruled by specific deities, planets or by the mystical energies that are designed for a specific purpose. Mantra is the mind consciousness, while Yantra is the form of a deity. It is believed that a specific deity resides in the Yantra, and by performing puja, you can please the deities to nullify the malefic effects of planets and increases the flow of positive influences. Once installed, Yantra creates a force field of energy around it. The powers of a Yantra are aligned with the reverberation of cosmic energies.
